O RB260GSP é um pequeno switch SOHO, que possui saída de energia em suas portas ethernet. As portas 2 a 5 podem alimentar outros dispositivos com capacidade PoE com a mesma tensão aplicada à unidade (PoE passivo sobre linhas de dados apenas). O RB260GSP possui cinco portas Gigabit Ethernet e uma gaiola SFP, a comutação é feita por um Atheros Switch Chip. O dispositivo está executando um sistema operacional projetado especificamente para produtos MikroTik Switch – SwOS
